Thames Tideway Tunnel

The Thames Tideway Tunnel, also known as London's 'super sewer,' is a major infrastructure project designed to tackle the problem of overflows from the city's Victorian sewers for at least the next 100 years, significantly reducing pollution in the River Thames. The tunnel stretches 25 kilometers from Acton in West London to Abbey Mills Pumping Station in East London, intercepting 34 of the most polluting combined sewer overflows. The tunnel is a key part of modernizing London's sewer system to cope with its growing population.

Our team has significant contribution to this project particularly in system integration, in developing and testing PLC and SCADA programs. his expertise not only enhances the project's performance but also contributes significantly to operational productivity and safety.

Crossrail Project

The London Crossrail project, also known as the Elizabeth Line, is a major infrastructure undertaking that aims to improve transportation in the capital city of the United Kingdom.

This ambitious project involves the construction of a new railway line that will run from east to west, connecting areas such as Reading and Heathrow Airport in the west to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.

CTRLSYS had played a pivotal role in the Crossrail project, particularly during the system integration and commissioning phase. Our company's expertise was instrumental in testing and integrating critical systems such as Railcom SCADA, tunnel lighting, and overhead line equipment. Additionally, the successful implementation of building management systems, UPS, and various customer information systems underscored the technical proficiency of the team. Our involvement extended to the meticulous testing of various electromechanical systems, ensuring the project's operational integrity and safety.
